It is that time of year already, to get rid of old junk and clutter and deep clean our surroundings. As we were taught mundane cleaning techniques by our elders, there is an additional step gifted to us that is essential to our spiritual survival. Keeping our Inner self strong requires ritual cleansing of ourselves in addition to our living and working areas. Here is a Spring-Cleaning ritual to get the job done! Enjoy!
Psalms 59:1-2 for Deliverance
Psalms 91 for Protection
HSE Cleansing/Uncrossing Herb Mix
HSE Cleansing/Uncrossing Oil
Mama Vergi’s Cleansing/Uncrossing Spray
House Cleaning Solution with Lemon (Pine Sol, Clorox, Lucky Mojo Chinese Wash)
Two White Tealights
HSE Cleansing/Uncrossing Incense
HSE Inferno Protection Incense
Open your windows and closet doors. Dress your tealights with 3 drops of your Cleansing/ Uncrossing Oil, saying your Psalm of Deliverance. Place your dressed tealights by your front door, one on the left, one on the right. Light them.
Light your HSE Cleansing/Uncrossing Incense in the brazier. Starting from the back, go through every room in the house, paying close attention to closets and cabinets. Next, place your incense brazier in a safe place as it continues to burn while you are cleaning.
Take one tsp of your Cleansing/Uncrossing Herbal mixture and simmer on the stove to make a tea. Pour your simmered tea inside of your mop water and a few drops into your cleaning spray solution.
Sprinkle a pinch of the herbal mixture on floor that is non-carpeted and let sit. Mist carpets with Mama Vergi’s Cleansing/Uncrossing Spray and let sit.
Start cleaning from the back of the house and work your way to the front. If you have a two-story home start from the farthest room upstairs and work your way down stairs and then out the front door. Wipe windowsills, doorways, door knobs, and threshholds. Wipe down all counters with your lemon cleaning solution mixed with nine drops of the Cleansing/Uncrossing tea.
Sweep up the herb mixture and mop your floors. Vacuum all carpets. Light your HSE Inferno Protection Incense while reading your Psalm of Protection.
Place three Bay Leaves in each corner of the House.

May is the month we celebrate Mother’s Day, and countries worldwide honor the hardest working person on Earth. In some cultures, residents follow their traditional chosen day for Mothers as well as adopting our date. The second Sunday in May was designated for the United States on May 9, 1914 by then President Woodrow Wilson.
While many of you are planning to attend religious services and/or take Mom out to lunch or dinner, go shopping with her, or maybe just send some flowers and a card, there are those, like myself, whose Mother has passed to their Heavenly Home. Despite being a Mother of five myself, and a grandmother of nine, I miss having my Mom to call when I need to rant about the rising cost of groceries or ask how to get a stain out of something that seems destined for the rag bag.
Here is a simple yet touching way to honor that woman who gave you birth.
1 White glass 7-day Novena type candle
White kerchief or crochet lace doily
Blessing or Healing Oil
Rose or Carnation in a bud vase
Photograph or image of your Mother
Clean the candle cylinder and top of wax with lemon juice or alcohol, and let dry completely. Choose a small table or fireplace mantle for your setup. Place a white kerchief or crochet lace doily with the photograph and bud vase with flower on it.
Take the white candle and pour a few drops of oil into the top of the candle, rubbing or swirling it clockwise to send the healing or blessing out. Place the candle on a saucer atop the doily. Light and pray Psalm 23 or recite a Hail Mary. Let it burn until done. You can take this a step further and leave a slice of cake or other sweet, a cup of black coffee, a small glass of sherry or rum, and other items that remind you of Mom.

In a pinch and need money quickly? Take one bay leaf and pray over it asking for your desired intent.
Next, write on the bay leaf the amount of money you desire.
Note: Be reasonable with the amount you ask for so Spirit will grant you your request. Never ask for more than you need.
Once you write the amount you need, burn the bay leaf in a safe place.
This spell is best done on a Friday or Sunday during the waxing cycle of the moon.
Lucky Mojo Money Herbs Mixture contains 7 botanicals to comfort your soul, increase your prospects, and enhance your abundance:
• Bay Leaf
Crafted in the tradition of Besamim, this fragrant spice mixture is used every week by Jews at the conclusion of the Sabbath, to usher in the new week.
It is a curious fact that in hoodoo, Besamim spices have been marketed as a Lucky Money Herbs Mix for more than 100 years and have gained the reputation of being a powerful tool for drawing wealth.
You may inhale the scent, burn the mixture as incense, add it to a bath, dress money with it, or use it to roll candles in.
As we are regrouping from a world pandemic, many families are finding themselves in need of extra or additional finances. Every now and then it is important to give our working altars a little boost. In the Japanese language the word kaeru means frog, but it also means return, so people put a little glass frog in their wallet so their money will return to them.
In light of this I give you the money spell “Kaeru Kaeru”:
First, you will need a lodestone. Place it on top of some bills to create a money altar. From your favorite Asia mart, bead store, or glass shop, get three tiny green frogs. Place them with the lodestone. Each day chant “money come back to me, kaeru, kaeru” three times.
On the third day, place one frog in your coin purse or wallet, one in the coin holder of your car, and leave the last with the lodestone.
Whenever you spend the money from these places, say or think “kaeru kaeru.”
If you receive change, put some of the coins or bills on the money altar, and tell the little frog that its friends say hi.
To strengthen the spell, add a little lodestone grit and magnetic sand to both the car’s coin holder and your purse/wallet.
This spell won’t make you rich, but it will keep a steady flow of money coming to you.
The energy of Venus is known to produce vibrations of love, passion, beauty, fertility, wealth, and victory. Although her origins are of Roman descent, this same energy is embodied by other deities in various traditions: Aphrodite (Greek), Isis (Egyptian), Oshun (Yoruban) — just to name a few.
For a brief period, the Planet of Venus was in retrograde, meaning, the energy that is produced by this planet was moving away from us. Now that Venus has gone direct, it is a good time to look forward to positive relationship building. We can also work on understanding the love language of our partners and increasing our passion, as relationships heal from the hiccups that may have erupted from the retrograde of Venus.
In this article, we will create an herbal mixture that has various ways of deployment to help raise your love and protection vibrations. Keep in mind that to manifest anything you must vibrate on the right frequency.
Let’s quickly discuss two of the main ingredients in our herbal pow-wow:
Passion Fruit Leaves and Hibiscus
Passion Fruit falls under the Venus umbrella with various healing properties and can produce a state of calmness while stimulating your aura to kick start the healthy growth of love energy.
Hibiscus also resonates with Venus energy and can serve as an aphrodisiac to increase passion — and to draw blessings and protection to couples.
Working Passion Fruit and Hibiscus together may give your spell work just the turbo boost it needs!
This herbal combination is designed to help enhance your love life by magnifying your protection and love vibration frequency. It can be used to design a Spiritual Bath, Condition Powder, Condition Spray, Condition Incense, and Candle Dressing.
The Honey Love Passion and Protection Mixture by Lady Muse is best used when your power is feeling down. Add a pinch to your work. Always remember less is best – just a pinch! In addition, we want to mix our ingredients and work with them during the planetary day and hour most suitable to raise the vibrations of Love and Protection. In a Waxing Moon cycle, the most useful planetary day and hour for this energy would be Friday during the hour of Venus.
• Passion Fruit Leaves
• Honey (Taste It First!)
• River Water (Spritz)
• Red and Yellow Rose Petals
• Mortar and pestle
• Mixing Bowl
• Pastry Brush or half inch paint brush
First, cleanse your work area and take a cleansing bath. Then gather your ingredients during the hour of Venus. With a mortar and pedestal grind your dried herbs and rose petals together to combine the dried ingredients.
Next, taste the honey and then place five drops in the bottom of the mixing bowl. Use a brush to spread the honey within the inside of the bowl. Next, sprinkle your combined herbal mixture in the bowl and spritz it with the River Water. Pray over your mixture to awaken the Ashe of Love, Passion, and Protection within the mix and thank the Spirits for providing their service. Lastly, let your mixture sit and charge in the Sun during the hour of the Sun.
Now your Honey Love Passion and Protection Mix is Ready for action! Enjoy!
(A wonderful working from Papa Gee’s new book Casting Love Spells: Rituals of Love, Passion, and Attraction!)
This spell falls midway between a passion spell and a sweetening spell because of its ingredients. It is meant to awaken your partner’s desire in a way that they only have eyes for you. (Cherries stand for love, respect, fidelity, passion, honesty.)
What you will need:
• 5 cherries
• Glass red wine
• Teaspoon honey
• Red bag or pouch
Pour the glass of wine, imagining that you are pouring it for your lover. Take a single sip of wine. Lick a small amount of honey from the teaspoon and eat a cherry.
Take your time and make it a sensual experience as you roll the cherry around your mouth with your tongue while picturing you and your lover in bed.
Take the remaining honey in the teaspoon and stir it into the wine. Spit the cherry pit into the wine. Repeat until you have eaten all the cherries and there are five pits in the glass.
Allow the glass of wine with the pits in it to sit overnight. The next day, retrieve the pits from the wine and allow them to dry. You may throw away the remainder of the wine.
Put three pits in the bag and place the bag under the center of your mattress. Put one pit in your underwear drawer and one in the bottom of his. If you fear he will find it, tape it to the bottom side of the drawer.
As if the current situation in the World was not enough, we will be experiencing four, not the usual three, Mercury Retrogrades in 2022.
The buzz phrase “Mercury Retrograde” has been gaining in popularity in the past few years, but in reality Mercury Retrograde has been occurring since the beginning of Time. The true nature of this retrograde phenomenon started to be understood when Copernicus observed the planets revolving around the Sun. Later, the study of the sky continued with mathematician Johannes Kepler, who was assisting astronomer Tycho Brahe. Kepler published a series of laws about the planets’ orbits that reveal the slight “backward” motion now commonly known as Retrograde.
During the 1980s, a revival trend in adapting older astrology brought more attention to the term Mercury Retrograde, and interest grew from then into the trendy term that is often applied to events that occur in everyday life.
Each Mercury Retrograde “sits” or “resides” in a certain astrological planetary sign, and it is believed that certain planetary aspects of that sign enhance or affect that particular Retrograde.
Here are the dates and the astrological sign of each of the 2022 Mercury Retrogrades:
1st Mercury Retrograde: January 14th to February 3rd 2022 – Mercury in Aquarius, the Water Bearer
2nd Mercury Retrograde: May 10th to June 2nd 2022 – Mercury in Gemini, the Twins
3rd Mercury Retrograde: September 7th to October 2nd 2022 – Mercury in Libra, the Scales
4th Mercury Retrograde: December 29th to January 18, 2023 – Mercury in Capricorn, the Sea Goat
Knowing the astrological signs of each of the Retrograde periods will assist you in recognizing events that are materializing so that you can plan your words and strategies for success during these times.
