As we approach the holidays, many people are struggling with the decision, due to the upsurge of the Covid-19 pandemic, of whether to be involved in family gatherings. How do we handle this? Although family time SHOULD be year around, most people use the holidays to take time off from busy schedules and spend it with loved ones and friends. This year is slightly different and that is putting it mildly. Covid- 19 is worse now than it was when it first started. As the government struggles to get this nerve-wrecking situation under control, we must use wisdom in all that we do. Don’t take your situation for granted. Protect your family by sticking to the program of safety first. Faith in the Lord is not a warrant to ignore common sense. Unfortunately, we do not know what our loved ones have picked up in other environments or what we may pick up and bring into their environment. We must understand and take into consideration the health and wellbeing of our family and household. Social distancing is of great importance. This is the time to take full advantage of the wonders that modern technology provides us, such as Zoom, Skype, Facetime, Video Chat, and other means of communication. This will allow everyone to be included in the holiday festivities, no matter where they are. We can not stress enough the importance of safety. This is the time to be selfless and understanding.

Another thing to think about is steering clear of family foolishness. We have to embrace and love one another. Couples need to stick and stay together. Be an example to your children of how to maintain a healthy relationship. Love and hold your kids close. Children, both grown and young, remember to love and respect your parents and your siblings because time waits for no one. Instead of fussing and fighting and separating, why not put that same bull-headed energy into staying together and fighting for better communication. Fight to keep outside negative energy away from your domain. Fight for positive growth. Together you stand. Divided you fall. The world is going through a hellish period and we never know what the next day, hour or minute will bring. Stay humble and appreciate one another — and remember that there is always someone in a worse position than you.

I want to introduce to you a simple but effective method of maintaining the family bond no matter how far away your love ones are. This Full Moon ritual is to promote Love, Protection, Good Health and Unity. Always remember, a family that Prays together Stays together. No matter where they are, they will have the teachings of the ancestors instilled in their minds and in their hearts. This is the light which will always help them find their way home.

Timing:
Full Moon
Items Needed:
One miniature Light House tealight holder
One tealight
One Guardian Angel Candle
One glass of Sugar Water
Guardian Angel Oil
Your list of family members and the names of their Guardian Angels.

Herb Mix:
Angelica Root for Protection
Bay Leaves for Protection
Lovage for Love
Deer’s Tongue for Communication
Mint to stimulate the mind and make good decisions
Basil for Protection and Peace
Lavender for Peace
Boneset for Protection and Health

Instructions:
1. Cleanse your area with Mama Vergi’s Cleansing & Uncrossing Spray or a good Florida Water.
2. Write a petition on keeping the family together, protected, and in good health. Dress the Petition paper with a pinch of the herb mixture and 8 small drops of Guardian Angel Oil. Fold towards you and place under your light house. 
3. Anoint your list of family names and their Guardian Angels with the Guardian Angel oil and a pinch of the herb mixture. Place the list of your family members and the names of their Guardian Angel under the dressed Guardian Angel Candle that is loaded with the same oil and pinch of herbs. Your Guardian Angel candle should be placed next to your miniature Light House. 
4. Place the small cup of sugar water next to your Guardian Angel candle to feed them.
5. Dress your tealight with a drop of the Guardian Angel oil and a pinch of the herb mixture.
6. Place the tealight inside of the Light House.
7. Light you Guardian Angel Candle and give thanks for their protection and duty.
8. Light your tealight inside of your Light House so that your family will always find the light and always find their way home.

You can recite the following Prayer:
Dear Lord, I ask that you keep my family together and safe.  
Bind the hands of the enemy and reverse every curse.
Keep our Guardian Angels encamped around us wherever we are and wherever we go. 
Let your peace and love abide within our hearts. 
Give us wisdom, knowledge and understanding. May our bond be unbreakable.
