Growing up in the wooded valley of Western Massachusetts, surrounded by a rich tapestry of folklore and mysticism, it was almost inevitable that I would find my way into the realms of witchcraft, Jewish folk magic, hoodoo, and tarot reading. From a young age, I was immersed in a world where the supernatural was not just a concept, but a tangible presence that was all around me, from the community of people to the haunted house I grew up in.
Being part of a family where psychic gifts were not uncommon only served to ignite my curiosity further. I was surrounded by tales of my great aunt, a fortune teller who emigrated from Germany and began reading tarot for the community as soon as she arrived. Her tarot cards were handed down through the family after her death, sadly lost before I began my own journey into divination.
As I delved deeper into the world of magic and mysticism, I found myself drawn to various traditions and practices, each offering its own unique perspective and tools for understanding the mysteries of the universe. It was through the study of folk magic, within the traditions of both Judaism and Hoodoo, that I really began to understand the power of intention and the importance of connecting with my ancestors and the natural world. I learned to work with herbs, candles, oils, crystals, and other sacred objects to manifest my desires and heal myself and others.
And then there was tarot, with its beautiful symbolism and archetypal imagery, offering a way to gain insight on situations that needed deeper exploration. I was captivated by the way the cards seemed to speak to me, offering guidance into the twists and turns of life's journey. Through over thirty years of study and practice, I honed my skills as a tarot reader, using the cards as a tool for self-discovery and empowerment, helping others to navigate the complexities of their own lives with clarity and confidence.
Today, as a practitioner of tarot, pendulum, shell divination, folk magic, witchcraft, and hoodoo, I am deeply grateful for the path that has led me to this point. My upbringing, with its rich history of magic and exploration, laid the foundation for my spiritual journey, while my experiences and intuition have guided me further along the way.
